In the CABAS version for the month of October, you will find a number of improvements, including around the information exchange between CABAS and CAB Plan. You can find out more about the new version below.

For vehicles that have previously been in the workshop, you do not need to reselect CABAS model

A VTR query previously overwrote the model text in CABAS, and the workshop was then forced to reselect the CABAS model. CABAS now retains the vehicle model information from the previous workshop visit so that CABAS has direct access to the correct CABAS model.

Quad bike/ATV added under “Other model”

The “Other model” group has been extended with vehicle type “Quad bike/ATV”.

Preselected spare parts supplier can only be altered by Administrator

All users in CABAS Parts were previously able to select a spare parts supplier as “preselected spare parts supplier”. This led to confusion at customers that have many users. We have now blocked this option for normal users – only Administrators in CABAS Parts can determine “preselected spare parts supplier”.

Extended search of work operations

It is now possible to perform searches of work operations for positions 91 and 150.

CABAS Heavy: Updating information for Volvo prices added

There is now updating information for spare parts prices relating to Volvo’s heavy vehicles in the system.

CABAS Heavy - General spare parts list for tractors

General spare parts list is now available for tractors. The General spare parts list makes it easier for the user to enter spare parts into CABAS. The spare parts are supplemented with price information.

CABAS Glass: Improvements in calculation management

• Calculations that are initiated as Glass calculations have the damage stage “Glass” by default.
• The message window regarding the paint choice for Glass calculations has been removed.
  

Improvements in the flow between CAB Plan and CABAS

CABAS is now updated with photos that have been taken during the repair and placed in the CAB Plan case. For this, "Update from CAB Plan when calculation is opened" (in Basic data-Cabas-Organisation settings) must be on.

Reports: Extended with more options for the zoom display modes

We were told that 25% was too small and 50% too large a zoom display mode for the calculation specifications. We have now added additional display modes to choose between.

Reports: Improved printout management

• Support has been introduced for double-sided printing of calculation specifications. Note that you have to adjust this setting on your printer.
• Specifications with no content are no longer printed. If you have defined in the basic data how many printouts you want, and one or more printouts lack content, this is indicated to the user before printing.
• You can now specify print interval when you are going to print the calculation specifications.
