CABAS: Clarification of the flow in order to transfer calculations between workshops

We have now made matters clearer when transferring an approved calculation to another workshop that is going to take over the repair assignment. The receiving workshop creates a copy of the calculation, which is provided with a new identity.

This means that the insurance company can clearly see that the new calculation is based on a previously approved calculation from another workshop.

The workshop that is transferring the calculation can see this in the calculation history:

The workshop that received the calculation can see this in the calculation history for the copy of the calculation:

CABAS: Repairs of stone chips based on the agreed price

There is now a new function for GLASS calculations where stone chips are to be repaired. Prices for 1, 2 or 3 stone chips can be entered in the agreement between the workshop and the insurance company, and these agreed prices are then used in the repair tab for GLASS calculations. If there are no agreed prices for the repair of stone chips, the system calculates on the basis of periods, as before.

The prices agreed between the workshop and the insurance company for the repair of stone chips are entered in Basic data => Workshops => select insurance company and enter prices:

When the prices have been entered, click “OK” to close this window. The agreed prices for the repair of stone chips will then be visible to the insurance company:

In the GLASS calculation, you can select the agreed prices for the repair of stone chips under the “Repair” tab in Action processing:

Note: If you create a SHEET METAL calculation with damage stage GLASS, the repair of stone chips functions in the same way as before (periods). In a SHEET METAL calculation, the agreed prices for the repair of stone chips are not applied.

CABAS: The VIN Search in relation to Pilkington is shown in the calculation history

Workshops with a valid Pilkington integration can now see the results of their VIN searches in the calculation history. As this relates to a service that Pilkington invoices, it is important to keep an eye on when a VIN search has been performed in relation to Pilkington and whether or not you have received a positive response. If you do not receive a response from Pilkington, you should not be invoiced for the service either.

If you perform several searches in one and the same calculation, each search is shown in the calculation history – although Pilkington is only paid once per calculation.

Insurance companies: Addition in Agreement check

“Repair of stone chips based on agreed price” and “Discount for used parts” have been added in the Agreement check between workshop and insurance company.

Insurance companies: Clarification of the flow in order to transfer calculations between workshops

The insurance company can now clearly see on the home page when a calculation has changed workshop:
