RELEASE NOTES april 2019

With this CABAS version we have made it possible to calculate additional clear lacquer – the function that was described in “User instructions regarding timings when painting cars” but that was absent in the system itself. You can find out more about the new version below.

After reading, you can find links to the Release Notes in the notification list in the top right.

Summary Release Notes April

  • CABAS: Surface alignment - Limitation of the maximum size of the damage surface
  • CABAS: Damage inspection app and app-related development in CABAS

CABAS: Implementation of “Additional clear lacquer”

With this release, “Additional clear lacquer” can be calculated separately from “Additional colour” – a functionality that, according to the “User instructions regarding timings when painting cars”, should have already been present in CABAS. With this release, we have separated these two calculation actions, as well as separating them in the painting specification.

CABAS: New appearance for the calculation results

The new appearance means that you can quickly see the calculation results following any changes in the calculation. The calculation reviewer’s process for processing received calculations is also being made simpler with the new report view.

All the specifications that were included in the old report view are still present following the change of appearance.

Read more about the change here: New reports in CABAS (EE) Pdf, 2 MB.

CABAS: Surface alignment - Limitation of the maximum size of the damage surface

As we have previously notified, the maximum size that can be specified for a damage surface that is to be repaired is limited to 15 dm2 as from this release.
A red frame around the field for the damage surface indicates that a value larger than the maximum surface (15 dm2) has been entered.

CABAS: Damage inspection app and app-related development in CABAS

1. Photos taken with the damage inspection app are automatically entered into the calculation.
Before, it was easy to forget to transfer photos that had been taken with the damage inspection app to the calculation in the computer, and the photos ended up being deleted from the app before they were transferred. With this new development, the photos taken with the app are automatically entered into the calculation.

2. “Quick start” for the damage inspection
You only need to specify the registration number in order to start taking photos with the app quickly. The correct CABAS model is selected in the computer at a later stage.

3. View calculation history
You can now see when a calculation was created in the damage inspection app, both from within the calculation and by right-clicking on the home page.

CABAS: New reports in the Statistics portal

1. A filter has been added that makes it possible to create reports from calculations with the status “invoiced”.

2. There are now statistics for calculations relating to heavy vehicles.
