There are as many answers to this question as there are types of damage. Using MepsBase, clients and contractors can easily calculate, communicate and agree on various repairs.
MepsBase is a common tool for contractors and clients
MepsBase creates a common view of repair and maintenance work in properties. A joint agreement forms the basis for a calculation that clearly defines all the stages that are to be carried out within a job. Any adjustments to the extent of the work can easily be made in the calculation, without the need to create a new tender or agreement. When the work has been completed, both parties accept the final calculation, which can then form the basis for invoicing. This creates benefits, both in the event of changes to an individual task and for the long-term collaboration between contractors and clients, as everything is transparent for all parties.
Handling work, materials, setup and transport
Another advantage of MepsBase is that it takes into consideration basically all parts of a job: the extent of the work including setup times, material consumption including wastage, personal transport and the transport of heavy materials. In MepsBase, the stages are also divided up by sector, which creates the potential for differentiated pricing but also clarifies the work content of various contractors.
MepsBase based on the Meps concept
MepsBase is based on the Meps concept. This concept has its origins in extensive studies and research regarding the consumption of time and resources in the contractor sector in Sweden during the 1970s and 1980s.
