MYSBY
MYSBY is a system for calculation of operation times for bodywork and damage repairs. It is based on extensive time studies of real repair operations carried out in European car repair workshops. After analysis of the time studies we have created time formulas which are the foundation of the calculation program. The time formulas give a time value for all applicable fasteners, screws, clips, welds etc as well as handling and alignment that every spare part needs in the exchange or repair process. By combining these values for the spare parts which shall be used a correct time is computed for every unique damage repair.
Other applications
The system is used for computation of operation times for the calculation system CABAS by insurance companies, as well as for computation of operation times when required by vehicle manufacturers. The system is also used for the insurance classification of vehicles. One further use for vehicle manufacturers is in the evaluation of alternative design solutions. Many of the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers use the MYSBY system for the computation of repair operation times of bodywork damage.
